Sure, as long as they buff Swordsmanship.

Judging from the inventory icon, it (the skin) would actually look reasonably good if it was available as a standard drop. The full coat of solid black on Lord Onrah's Sword is absolutely awful.

This. The way it is in the picture I find possibly the ugliest sword in the game. But whatever, I guess mroe skins is always better and taste is taste.

This would require new models and stuff, anet dont really have to do anything to make this sword a drop because it already exists in game. Well, this is at least how I understand it (please correct me if I am wrong)

Nope, the model exists, it's a miniscule amount of effort.

Were all waiting for Anet to add in the unique skins that some greens have and all the pvp only skins.

Id like to see the original skin. This is dyed black.
Anyways, I'd do this general.
Every single skin should be acquirable, not just as uniques, not just as PvP or PvE rewards, but in both modes as drops and PvP rewards.
Each one with a single name, now that we are at it.
It's annoying having skins with multiple possible names, and names sharing skins.
